Hello BTAA friends!
I wanted to share this wonderful opportunity with you all and encourage you to share it within your circles: International Student Services (ISS) is hiring an International Engagement Coordinator<https://jobs.wisc.edu/jobs/international-engagement-coordinator-madison-wis…>!
This person would join the Global Engagement Team and work alongside myself, Kacha Fischer, (who you probably met at the BTAA Summit in Lincoln last year) and Melissa Murray Baltus (who you will likely meet at the BTAA Summit this year). Main programs / duties: coordinate an International Peer Mentor<https://iss.wisc.edu/international-peer-mentor-program/> program and a Global Cafe<https://iss.wisc.edu/get-involved/global-cafe/> event series, be a liaison with student organizations through events and supporting a grant<https://iss.wisc.edu/get-involved/global-badger-experience-grant-gbeg/>, as well as supervise two student interns.
Happy to answer questions folks might have about the role, the Global Engagement Team, the ISS office, or UW-Madison in general. This is a wonderful opportunity that I am extremely excited about sharing and hope you might have someone in mind that might consider applying! Feel free to share my contact info / reach out to me via email or LinkedIn if you'd like to chat more.
Best,
Allison
