Hello everyone!
I wanted to share with you that our applications for the International Welcome Team are now open! We are looking to hire about 20 students. Below is the general information with more details on our website that is linked. Please share it
with any students you feel would be a great fit!
Welcome Team members provide the peer support and local knowledge necessary to make new undergraduate students feel at home as a Husker from the moment they arrive in Nebraska. The team greets and assists new international students at the
Lincoln airport, staffs residence hall welcome desks, and leads activities during International Orientation and International Welcome Week.
The best Welcome Team candidates are positive, motivated, and reliable. Team members must be full-time, degree-seeking students. Applicants with previous experience in mentoring, leadership, or cultural groups and a desire to help new international
students adapt would make strong candidates.
