Apologies for the confusion. I meant that we should reach out to Anshul and setup a meeting the first part of the next week, as she is familiar with our conference. I don’t think this is something we need
to resolve today. We still have some time.
Does this work? If so, I will reach out to Anshul and start the process to setup a meeting.

Hi Craig,
I can’t call them before end of day most likely. If you have time before then, I invite you to call them.
Kind regards,
Amber

I think Amber and I need to have a call with cvent on how to fix this. I think they would know how to fix this. I am not sure how to move forward on this. All I know is that during the last conference we could
switch already registered sessions on the desktop website Attendee Hub.

I think we’d also be okay to add the optional sessions back to registration on Monday since the deadline will have passed. Would that fix the issue?

Hi Craig,
We decided it was best for me to remove the session selection from the registration process to make it more efficient signing up. I believe people can curate their agenda in
the app, right? If that is the case, a sentence can be added in the email about the app about doing that.
Kind regards,
Amber

Frances – I think that the optional sessions part of the registration has been disabled. By not having people sign up for optional sessions, in-person attendees will not have any optional sessions on their
app (as you noticed). In addition, any virtual attendees will not be able to view optional sessions.
I think that optional sessions can show up in the app, but it may or may not be clunky and confusing for all attendees. The other option would be to add the optional section back onto the registration, and
have everyone modify their registration, if they are interested in using the app or the livestreaming options. We have not handled registration in the way before, so I just do not know how to handle this.
Amber – do you have any insight on this?

Hi Craig,
I think I can answer this one – attendees likely won’t select their optional concurrent sessions until they download the conference app slightly prior to the conference or
onsite, as it doesn’t matter much to us this year since we’re not determining room assignments by sign up numbers for individual sessions.
It seems odd to me that they wouldn’t show up unless someone has signed up, but would it work for you, Amber, and I to each register for a different side event during each
grouping so we can ensure they will appear?

I noticed that in mine as well. I know the reason why this is happening, which is to nobody is registered for the ‘optional’ sessions. We did this last year within the registration.
Amber – is there a plan to get everyone registered for the optional sessions at some point? If not, we should probably reach out to cvent to figure out the best way to do this.
Thanks.

Hi Craig,
I was looking through the schedule on the app yesterday and noticed that the concurrent sessions are not showing. Can you take a look at that when you have a moment?
Thanks!

I was able to link all of these to sessions. I will add Valmont on the homepage when I start building that page out.
On another note, I was able to successfully import the Schedule, Speakers and Notifications spreadsheets without errors. The speakers linked up with the sessions assigned. And the exhibitor admins have been
assigned and messaged.
Overall, things are falling together on the cvent side of the conference!
