Notice of filming and photography
When you attend the Water for Food Global Conference, you enter an area where photography, audio, and video recording, as well as livestreaming will occur. By
entering the event premises, you consent to interview(s), photography, audio recording, video recording and its/their release, publication, exhibition, or reproduction to be used for news, web casts, promotional purposes, telecasts, advertising, inclusion
on websites, social media, or any other purpose by the Daugherty Water for Food Global Institute (DWFI), the University of Nebraska (NU) and its affiliates and representatives. You have been fully informed of your consent, waiver of liability, and release
before entering the event.

Transportation and parking

Shuttle service to Lincoln from the Omaha Airport
OMALINK

VIP Sedan
& Limousine
offer shuttle service from Omaha Eppley Airfield (OMA) to the Lincoln area for a fee of about $100+ each way. Reservations must be made in advance so please arrange for transportation
from the Omaha Airport ASAP. You may also check with your hotel to inquire if they provide transportation.
Lyft and Uber
If you are in need of additional transportation during your stay, we recommend using
Lyft
and
Uber
with ample coverage in the Lincoln and Omaha areas. However, please plan for a 15 minute wait time. Some hotels may also offer free shuttle service for their guests within the Lincoln area.
Getting to the Conference Center
The conference will be held at the
Nebraska
Innovation Campus (NIC) Conference Center, 2021 Transformation Drive, Lincoln, Nebraska, U.S.A.
The Conference Center is across the street from our partner hotel,
The
Scarlet. More information on our complimentary shuttle to the off-site Wednesday reception can be found below.

Parking at the Conference Center

Parking is available in the lot north of Transformation Drive. Please use the
Passport Parking
app (Zone 9900) to pay for parking. (Pay stations cannot be used for lot parking.) Learn more

app (zone 80) or at a pay station located near the metered parking. Learn more

Entering the Conference Center
The entrance to the NIC Conference Center can be found just to the south of The Mill coffee shop through the door on the ground level. Look for directional signage
inside and outside the conference center.

Side Session: From Field to Forum: Shaping COP30 Priorities on Water and Food Security
Monday, April 28, 1:30-3:30 p.m.
NIC Conference Center, Breakout A
This pre-conference side session serves as a pivotal discussion in the lead-up to COP30, focusing on the critical nexus of water management and food security
under climate variability. We will explore the challenges and opportunities in diverse agricultural contexts, through comparative case studies from Brazil and Nebraska and including both policy and technical perspectives. The session will culminate in a panel
discussion with the goal of formulating clear and impactful messages for COP30 (to be held November 10-21, 2025, in Belem, Brazil), advocating for effective water management strategies to ensure global food security. All conference attendees are welcome to
participate.

We are happy to provide round trip bus transportation to Country Pines and back to Nebraska Innovation Campus and The Scarlet Hotel. More details about timing
are available in the conference app or at the Registration Desk. The shuttle bus stop is located just south of the Conference Center.

Business casual
Business casual attire is appropriate for the Water for Food Global Conference. Please consider bringing a sweater or light jacket, as meeting rooms can be variable
