Thank you for registering for the Spring 2026 Education Opportunities Fair. We look forward to having you on campus on Thursday, January 22nd! Our students are getting excited to connect with you!
In an effort to provide the most accurate information to students, we are asking all schools to update their registration to include job openings beginning Fall 2026 (if known). It is also okay to list generic openings such as Elementary Teacher, Anticipated Science Teacher, or Anticipated Multiple Positions for 2026-27. Please complete this no later than Monday, January 12th by 5:00 pm. Students can access the information on Handshake before the event and a printed list of openings on the day of the fair.
To add the job openings to your registration, complete the following steps:
1. Login to Handshake <https://urldefense.com/v3/__https://app.joinhandshake.com/career_fairs/7a48… >
2. Click Fairs on the left navigation bar.
3. Click the box next to Show Registered Only.
4. Click on the name of the career fair you would like to view.
5. Click the green Registered button in the upper-right corner of the page, then click View Registration.
6. Click on the Edit tab located in the upper-right corner of the career fairs Overview page.
7. If open positions are posted on Handshake, scroll down to the Looking For section and select Yes. Then type the corresponding jobs in the Job Titles field.
8. If open positions are not posted on Handshake, select No in the Looking For section. Then type the corresponding jobs in the Job Titles field. Please try to be specific when possible – this will give you the best chance of visiting with the right students. If positions are not known at this time, you may list “anticipate K-6 Special Education or anticipate multiple elementary positions”
9. Last, click Update Registration (located in the lower-right corner).
If you need additional information regarding how to edit your registration, please see the following article<https://urldefense.com/v3/__https://support.joinhandshake.com/hc/en-us/arti… >.
If you haven’t already paid, we are asking that all payments be made by Friday, January 9th by 5:00 pm so we have an accurate list of schools attending. If payment is not received by this time, your registration may be canceled by UNK Academic Advising and Career Development. This article<https://urldefense.com/v3/__https://support.joinhandshake.com/hc/en-us/arti… > includes the steps for how to make a payment. If you have questions about payment, please email Bri at meyerbl2(a)unk.edu<mailto:meyerbl2@unk.edu> or Emily at beamanem(a)unk.edu.
More information about parking, check-in time, meals, etc. will be sent out the week of the fair.
If your plans have changed and you are no longer able to attend the education fair, please let us know as soon as possible.
Thanks,
Brianna Meyer
