Thanks for the productive conversation at the meeting of the Engagement Collaborative, great things are in progress! Updates:
Strategic Plan
- The draft is in a file in WORD on our TEAMS Site:
UNL-Engagement Collaborative
- Great ideas on this! Feel free to add/edit/comment, etc.
- After we all agree on the goals, we will ask for volunteers to take the lead on one of the five “themes” and begin the work.
- Please get input into the teams file by July 31.
Engagement Scholarship Consortium
- UNL is now a member of the
Engagement Scholarship Consortium
- We will be sending a press release on the benefits and how to access.
- ESC is hosting a
conference in Oregon October 9-10, 2024.
UNL Engagement Seed Funding
- The next round of funding is due July 17: https://nuramp.nebraska.edu/competitions/start-application?PreselectCompetitionID=1047

The engagement work of UNL continues to progress and we have some exciting opportunities to share!
- UNL is now a member of the
Engagement Scholarship Consortium. This membership includes:
- Professional development on topics such as Engagement 101, building engagement in one’s dossier, publishing engaged scholarship, and broader impacts
planning
- Outreach and Engagement Professionals Network
- ESC small grants program (next cycle due March, 2025)
- ESC awards program
- Access to the
Journal of Higher Education Outreach and Engagement and Journal of Community Engagement and Scholarship
We will continue to provide details!
