[EVC Announce] CAS Acting Dean Announcement

Dear College of Arts and Sciences Faculty, Staff, and Students,

I write to follow-up on the recent news that Mark Button has been chosen as Interim Executive Vice Chancellor.

Effective January 1, 2025, Patrick Dussault will assume the role of Acting Dean for the college. I know many of you are familiar with Professor Dussault. He has been a UNL faculty member since 1988 and has served in a number of leadership roles. Currently serving as Professor of Chemistry and Associate Dean for Faculty, Pat will ensure a smooth transition for the College.

I am grateful for his willingness to assume this leadership role.
