Graye – Thank you for sneaking this into the November newsletter for me.
- Nebraska Initiative 433 states the minimum rate for BW employees will increase to $13.50/hour. If you supervise
a BW employee who currently is below this new rate, it will automatically change on 1/1/2025. If you plan to hire a BW employee, they must be hired at no less than $13.50/hour. IANR/HR has not indicated a change in the top of the hire range.
- Recently, full-time employee addresses were verified/updated in the UNL Payroll system. Many folks responding indicated
a lack of understanding regarding the four-digit mail service’s postal code. Please see below for clarification:
- NIC Business Center - 6205
- Dairy Store and Food Processing Center – 0930
- Food Science (includes NE Food for Health and FARRP) – 0919
- Life Science Annex - 0901
- Whittier School of Technology – 0857
- If you are benefits eligible, please remember to submit leave requests for the December shut down by 12/20/2024
