Upgrades August 3 & 11

Greetings!

On August 3rd 2024, ITS will be performing an Aruba switch upgrade for the edge network at UNK, UNO, and UNL campus locations. This upgrade will improve performance and update any security vulnerabilities. During the upgrade there will be a brief network outage that should last around 15 minutes. Clients will not have any network connectivity for both wired and wireless systems during this time.

A tentative schedule is provided below. Please keep in mind that this schedule could vary +- 1 hour. If devices are unable to access the network after 30 minutes of being offline, please reboot your device. If your device is still having issues accessing the network after a reboot, please put in a ticket with ITS at support@nebraska.edu.

· UNL City                          8:00 am  - 9:00 am

· UNL East/NIC                9:00 am  – 10:00 am

· UNK                                   10:00 am  - 11:00 am

· UNO                                  11:00 am – 12:00 pm

**Baxter Arena will not be a part of this upgrade time and will be scheduled separately due to an event.
