Emily J. Prior Scholarship Fund - The Prior Scholarship fund program was established in loving memory of Emily Prior for her dedicated military service as Chief, Concepts and Systems Division, Army Center of Excellence Subsistence (ACES). The purpose of this scholarship is to honor and assist qualified students who are majoring in food science, packaging, or related areas. The 2024 Award recipients will be notified on January 31, 2025. Keith R. Olsen Agricultural Policy Internship The Keith R. Olsen Agricultural Policy Internship award program can provide CASNR students - you - the opportunity to complete exciting internships in Washington, D.C. Students who are selected to participate in the Washington, D.C. program could work full-time on Capitol Hill for a member of Nebraska’s Congressional Delegation, a selected committee in the House of Representatives/Senate or at one of a number of agricultural organizations based in Washington, D.C. Applications Due October 11, 2024
Recipient(s) will be expected to secure their own internship with the assistance of the Olsen Internship Committee. The award will allow you to: Receive a $3,000 stipend Live and work in Washington, D.C. during the summer semester Gain valuable ag policy experience Earn academic credit if desired
