This Friday will be our next Food for Health Seminar Series speaker! Dr. Mark Brown from the Cleveland Clinic will be here. Please find the flyer both below and attached for information regarding Dr. Brown's visit. We will be in person in FIC 277 like normal on Friday. There will also be a zoom connection.

Presenter: Dr. Mark Brown from the Cleveland Clinic
 
Title: "Metaorganismal Endocrinology: Microbe-Host Interactions in Health and Disease."
 
Summary: Dr. Brown will discuss several ongoing projects aimed at understanding diet-microbe-host interactions that produce bioactive metabolites that systemically circulate. These gut bacterially-derived metabolites are then sensed by host receptors to elicit effects on normal physiology as well as impacting cardiometabolic disease progression.
