On behalf of the 2025 Nebraska Plant Science Symposium Planning Committee, we are excited to invite you to participate in the Nebraska Plant Science Symposium “Driving Innovation: New Frontiers in Plant Science”. This event is part of the Corteva Symposium Series and will be held on Tuesday, March 4th 2025, from 8 am to 5 pm at the Nebraska Innovation Campus Conference Center. Registration is free and open to all people interested in plant science. Please register by February 13, 2025.

This symposium is designed to promote education and community within people interested in plant sciences, as well as providing early-career researchers (undergraduate and graduate students, and post-docs) an opportunity to showcase their outstanding work.
Interested in presenting your work? Register with an abstract by January 23, 2025.

We will have the following presentation opportunities:
• 15-minute talks
• 3-minute lightning talks
• Poster session
An email will be sent to confirm if you have been selected for one of these opportunities.

Travel grant:
For selected participants traveling from other schools for oral presentations, we are pleased to offer travel support. Please fill out the registration form AND travel award application indicating your interest by January 23, 2025.  

We encourage you to mark your calendar, submit your abstract, and join us for a day of knowledge exchange, networking, and celebration of plant sciences. Your participation will contribute to the success of this symposium, making it a vibrant and enriching experience for all.
