It is with deep sadness that I must announce the passing of Carol D. Shafer (Julie McManamey’s mother) on September 23rd, 2024. You can find her obituary at:
https://metzmortuary.com/carol-d-shafer/: A celebration of Carol’s life will be held at East Hill Church of Christ in York on September 28, 2024, at 10:30 a.m. Burial will be held at 1:30 p.m. that afternoon
at Greenwood Cemetery in York. A luncheon will be held at East Hill Church of Christ following the service, prior to the burial. Visitation will be held on September 27, 2024, at 6:00-8:00 pm at the East Hill Church of Christ.
The FST Department will send a peace lily to Julie today to provide comfort and sympathy during these difficult times.
