Prabhashis is an M.S. student co-advised by Dr. Kaustav Majumder and Dr. Toshihiro Obata. He obtained his bachelor's degree in Food Technology and Biochemical Engineering from Jadavpur University,
India. His research focuses on understanding how the maize domestication has led to changes in the chemical composition and abundance of health-beneficial bioactive compounds in the modern varieties of maize.
