Subject: Holiday Closedown Timeline for Faculty Searches
Dear Department Heads, Director, and Engagement Zone Coordinators –
In an effort to help manage expectations as we approach the year end and holiday closedown, IANR HR is requesting that all new faculty positions (including post docs, lecturers, and educators) that you wish to have posted prior to the holiday
closedown be provided to IANR Faculty Recruitment by Monday, November 18th. This will allow time for HR to obtain mission critical approval, work with the department heads/EZCs/search chairs to finalize all necessary documentation, and ensure IEC will
have time to post the position on or before Friday, December 20nd (the last day before closedown).
If the request to start a search is not received by Monday, November 18th, we will continue to process the search as normal,
but it cannot be guaranteed to post prior to the closedown.
Please plan ahead now to ensure a smooth ending to the faculty search process for the 2024 calendar year, and as always let us know if you have any questions.
