Thank you for letting us know! She is welcome to join even for just a single weekend if she’d like during the warmer months in the garden. Do you want me to keep you on the email list or take you off? (You can always email me if you decide you’d like to come on a random Saturday!). Up to you.

Subject: [Indigenous Youth Food Sovereignty Program]Hoop Program: A special note to alumni students

Good morning!

We have a special note to alumni students of the Indigenous Youth Food Sovereignty Program:

During the winter months, we are asking that all alumni students of the program wait to attend class until the garden opens in the spring.

Due to the limited space in the greenhouse and limited finances for lunches, we are limiting the class to new students and their families enrolled in the 2024 program.

When the weather turns, we welcome everyone to participate in the community garden!  We are working on something for alumni students to stay involved and connected with each other and an alumni garden program.

Spring is just around the corner!

Skylar
