Here is some important information about class this Saturday. Ted will be back!  We look forward to seeing you!


Where we will meet:

This week we will be meeting in the Plant Sciences classroom on the second floor.

 

Before Class:

🌻 Indoor Garden Activity:

  • Before class, I invite you to think about these questions as we start planning the garden this week!
    • Do you have any favorite plants?
    • Do you prefer fruits or vegetables?
    • What fruits or vegetables interest you? To grow? To taste?
    • Do you prefer perennial or annual plants?
    • What are some culturally important plants/foods to your family?
    • What are your favorite meals - what are some ingredients that come from plants?
    • What are your favorite colors?
📕 Please read Chapter 3 of Braiding Sweetgrass The Gift of Strawberries before class and write down some of your thoughts and reflections in your notebook.
