International Day of Women and Girls in Science

February 11 is the 9th annual International Day of Women and Girls in Science. We invite you to share a 30-second video or post on social media. You could explain why you chose a career in science or how your work benefits society. You could tell a story of a woman scientist or leader that inspired you whether it’s someone from history or the modern world. Or perhaps you want to offer words of encouragement to girls who are considering a STEM career. Whichever you choose, please tag AWIS and use the hashtag #IDWGS .
