Hello team,

I want to make sure that you are aware of the vacation days this summer. UNL observes Juneteenth in December so that you can have the week off between Christmas and New Years, so it is not a vacation day. July 4^th is a vacation day, but not the 5^th (unless we get an email stating otherwise).

If you want to take vacation beyond July 4^th please remember that our policy is that you ask for the time off in advance. Unless there is something critical that will get in the way of your vacation time I will approve it. I need to know ahead of time what your plans are though.
