Hi Team,
I want to let you know that I will be out of town from Saturday, March 22 – Sunday, March 30 (and I’m not planning on bringing my computer with me). I might not come into work on Monday, March 31st (we will play it by ear).
I have a history of getting pneumonia on long trips, so I would like for you to plan on getting anything you need from me (letters of recommendation, advice, special orders, etc.) before I leave just in case I am sick for the first week of April.
Also, just to make sure everyone knows the rules:
1. Graduate students (and I) are expected to work during spring break 2. Undergraduate students are not expected to work during spring break, but they are definitely welcome to do so!
Hopefully you all know that when you want to take time off you just need to let me know (ahead of time as much as possible) and we will discuss. I’ve never said no to time off, but that’s because people have always respected the idea of getting their work done whenever possible and this can always change (that was me being tough – did it work?).
Let me know if you have any questions or concerns,
Iverson
