Happy Summer “Vacation”!
As another successful school year has come to an end, I want to take a moment to extend my heartfelt thanks to each and every one of you. Your dedication, creativity, and resilience have made this past year not only productive but truly inspiring. Your hard work has not gone unnoticed - whether you were leading projects, collaborating across departments and/or campuses, or keeping everything running smoothly behind the scenes, your contributions have made a lasting impact.
Now, as summer begins, I hope you are able to take a well-deserved break to rest, recharge, and spend time doing what brings you joy. Whether you're traveling, spending time with loved ones, or simply enjoying some quiet moments, you’ve earned it. Thank you for everything and have a great summer!
NeSIS Award Winner

I am thrilled to announce Geoff Putney as the NeSIS award winner for his exceptional work in many recent projects, most notably the WebFOCUS upgrade. This upgrade required months of planning and preparation. It's a very complex system with a large learning curve that Geoff has taken on for us to become our resident expert administrator. Geoff's work ethic and can-do attitude has been invaluable, and I know this was not an easy task. I'm deeply grateful for Geoff's hard work and dedication to taking on this role and accomplishing such a successful implementation. During the same timeframe Geoff has also contributed to other upgrades of Sunapsis, EMS and PeopleTools. Geoff is an outstanding rock star who is much appreciated - thanks Geoff!!

2025 Accessibility Review Project
The Department of Justice updated regulations for Title II of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and specified technical requirements in rule 2024-07758<https://urldefense.com/v3/__https://www.federalregister.gov/documents/2024/… > requiring how to ensure web content and mobile apps are accessible to people with disabilities. NeSIS has kicked off the 2025 Accessibility Project which will conduct a review of NeSIS web content to ensure compliance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) Version 2.1 Level AA.
The evaluation will assess NeSIS-owned applications for compliance to ensure all users can reliably use our applications. The review will include both public content (login pages, public class search, eform-based admissions applications), and credentialed content (dashboards, eforms/workflow and third-party systems). A communications plan is being developed to keep stakeholders informed of project progress.
