Good afternoon all - As you are likely aware, most classes at UNL have been cancelled on September 20 to help accommodate the evening football game. Instead, most classes will follow instructional continuity plans. I just received notification that our request to hold in-person classes on this day for the PPVM has been approved. (Our request was submitted on June 3.) Other professional programs (e.g., dental, law) were provided similar exemptions. Some of your instructors may opt to follow an instructional continuity plan rather than hold classes on this day. If so, they will relay this information during the first week of classes and/or in their course syllabus. Annual NVMA/PPVM Tailgate and CE Events

Hi all, Hope this email finds you well. Please find attached a save-the-date for our annual NVMA/PPVM Husker tailgate! Mark your calendars for September 13 and 14! We will be hosting our tailgate that Saturday, September 14 starting at 3 pm at the Embassy Suites on 10th and P. In addition, we will be offering two CE opportunities: Friday evening, September 13 from 5-7pm Saturday morning, September 14 from 10am-12pm CE events will also be held at the Embassy Suites. Speakers for the CE are being finalized and we will provide that info as soon as we have it. These events are FREE to PPVM students! No need to register or pay the fee - just show up! I included the VM3's in the random event that you're back from Ames that weekend 🙂 Let me know if you have any questions! SAVMA Update - Read in Entirety

Hello everyone, I had my SAVMA executive meeting and here are the following updates that I have: 1. Dues Scholarship - You should find out by tomorrow night whether you have received the scholarship to cover your SAVMA dues * VM2s only- Your dues (whether by scholarship or other means) must be paid before your first meeting in order to receive food. 2. Additional meeting credit- If you attend the AVMA PLIT meeting on September 11th you will receive meeting credit for SAVMA. As a reminder, you must attend two meetings each semester to remain in good standing. RSVP to Dani's email in order to receive food! * There are a total of four meetings this semester now! 3. Class of 2027 Scrubs - The scrubs are during the final stages of production. Unfortunately, the size Medium has been on backorder. The ISU executive team is working diligently to resolve the situation. I will update everyone again when more news arrives. If you are a VM1 I highly encourage attending the first SAVMA meeting. If you have any interest or questions, this will serve as a great opportunity to have them answered and learn more about the benefits of SAVMA.
