Hey all! I just remembered this resource that Sam shared with us. So sorry I forgot to share this with you. I only just remembered because the webpage with the exams is down. If you have typed solutions I believe Sam is willing to add them, though I don't know if he is available to do that over break.

Hey Gabriel,

I was wondering if you were storing or keeping track of all the examples / problems that were being worked through during the QED seminar. I think having a bank of worked through solutions is one of the best studying methods for quals, and I’d hate for all the work y’all’re doing every week to be erased every time the board is cleaned.

I have a pretty decent chunk of the past algebra problems stored in the OER I put together when I was studying for the algebra exam (though I think more than a few of the solutions have issues), and if you send me solutions y’all have worked through I’d love to put them into the OER so others can use them down the line! This applies to other subjects too, not just Algebra!

All,

If you did not fill out the survey but are still interested in attending the QED (Qualifying Exam Discussion) seminar then please add yourself to the list qed@lists.unl.edu, or send me an email (gadams11@huskers.unl.edu), or attend today. This will be the final email to the general math grads list.

>From the survey the most popular time was 3:30pm on Tuesday. Our first meeting will be today at3:30pm outside of my office AVH337. We'll have a proper room next week. There's been some issues with the room reservation system today. We will discuss organizational things such as the schedule and who will lead the discussion each week.

Sincerely,
Gabriel Adams
