I will be organizing the QED seminar this semester. If you don't know, QED stands for Qualifying Exam Discussion (and not Quod Erat Demonstrandum, or something silly like that). The seminar is a dedicated time each week to study for qualifying exams with your fellow students.

We will be meeting on 2-3 PM Fridays in Avery 345. Our first meeting will be this Friday, January 24th. If you are considering attending anytime this semester, please fill out the survey at this link:

I am willing to organize problems each week for some subset of Algebra, Analysis, and Topology. You are welcome to come regardless of which quals you plan to take. All future emails will be sent on the QED mailing list, so make sure you're added to that!
