Parking Zones: The paved lot north of Transformation Drive is Zone 9900 on the Passport Parking app. On-street parking at NIC is Zone 80. Parking in downtown Lincoln and the Haymarket is Zone 75. Enforcement: Paid parking in the paved lot north of Transformation Drive is enforced from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Monday through Saturday. On-street metered parking is enforced from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Monday through Saturday. Ohio STATE is Seeking an MS student (Food Science) to begin Summer/Fall 2025 at Ohio State University This project is part of a USDA NIFA Higher Education Challenge Grant titled "Development of a diverse and competent food safety compliance workforce to enhance trust in a secure food system" in collaboration with NC State University and Tuskegee University. Specifically, the MS student will likely focus on a project assessing student perceptions of careers in auditing, inspection, and assessment and/or evaluate programmatic data from stakeholders using the newly developed curriculum and resources. Project topic is flexible but will focus on some aspect of food safety auditing, inspection, and assessment. Ideally, a student would begin integrating themselves into the project/grant asap. Hello All, I am excited to announce our new part-time student worker, Bree Bell. She will be helping out with our social media platforms and also helping FPC with some of their promotional material. Bree is currently a junior Advertising and Public Relations major with a minor in Global Leadership. Bree brings a fresh perspective and a passion for social media. With experience in managing professional and academic social media accounts, she has demonstrated creativity, strategic thinking, and a keen understanding of current trends. We are confident that Bree will be a valuable addition to our department, helping us to enhance our online presence and engage with our audience more effectively. Her first day will be Wed. Feb. 5 , and she will have varying hours depending on events. We look forward to her contributions and the new ideas she will bring to our social media initiatives.
