Good Afternoon, Please make note that when the custodial crew is cleaning the restrooms, you should not enter that restroom until they are finished. The custodial crew places a magnetic yellow ribbon across the door or along the side of the door, similar to this: [Magnetic Door Barrier 'Closed For ...] Please do not enter the restroom when this ribbon is present across or alongside the restroom door (the 2nd floor lounge area restroom door cannot accommodate the ribbon being stretched across the door). As a reminder, men's and women's restrooms are located on first, second, and third floors near the main elevator/stairwell as well as in the 2nd floor lounge area. Please use an alternative restroom when your usual restroom is being serviced. Originally from Ohio, Tammy earned her degree in Commercial Art from the University of Akron. Her work has been featured in several exhibitions, including at the Bryan Medical Center's East Campus gallery and the Red Path Gallery in Seward. She also participated in the Serving Hands Community Art Project and created a Folded Flag sculpture displayed at the Lincoln Veterans Administration building. In 2019, Tammy was recognized as an Emerging Artist by the Lincoln Arts Council. Over the past four years, she has been a regular participant in the Lincoln and Omaha Arts Festivals. Her research focuses on flavor and natural products chemistry, emphasizing the aroma and taste of fruits, herbs, and agricultural commodities, along with flavor modulators. She earned her Ph.D. in Flavor Chemistry at Rutgers University and completed postdoctoral training at MIT, specializing in proteomics, lipidomics, and metabolomics. Dr. Wang has received the Fellow Award of Agricultural & Food Chemistry from the American Chemical Society and the UF Research Foundation Professorship Award. She applies multi-omics integrated with machine learning to understand flavor formation, identify plant diseases early, and explore plant disease pathology. Her research also identifies nutraceutical compounds in natural products to improve human health. RO water update/Autoclave 2 down in 309

Just a quick update - RO water is confirmed back up but the larger Autoclave 2 in 309 is down indefinitely as it appears it needs a new part. The "Out of Service" sign will remain on this until it is repaired. If anyone on 3rd floor needs access to room 205 to use that autoclave during this time, let me know. Thanks, Jayne Stratton

Good morning, Nebraska Nova let me know that the RO water tanks are re-filling slowly, but we should have enough right now for normal functions. You can use the autoclaves and the lab taps as needed. If I hear anything else I will let you know. Thanks, Jayne Stratton
