ASGSA (Animal Science Graduate Student Association) is selling turkeys! All turkey sale proceeds will fund ASGSA travel and other group expenses. This year the dates to pick up your thawed and ready to cook turkey from Loeffel Meats Lab will be Monday, November 25th and Tuesday, November 26th. RO water update/Autoclave 2 down in 309

Just a quick update - RO water is confirmed back up but the larger Autoclave 2 in 309 is down indefinitely as it appears it needs a new part. The "Out of Service" sign will remain on this until it is repaired. If anyone on 3rd floor needs access to room 205 to use that autoclave during this time, let me know. Thanks, Jayne Stratton

Good morning, Nebraska Nova let me know that the RO water tanks are re-filling slowly, but we should have enough right now for normal functions. You can use the autoclaves and the lab taps as needed. If I hear anything else I will let you know. Thanks, Jayne Stratton

RO water - please do not use until morning

As of now, the RO water tanks are still struggling to fill. I just talked with Nebraska Nova and they advise that we do not use any RO water until morning. This would include the autoclaves and any taps in the labs that are not regular city water. Thanks, Jayne Stratton

No RO water in building (do not use autoclaves this morning)

Good morning, Nebraska Nova let me know there is no RO water in the building this morning. They are trying to find the source of the leak and will let me know if they do. In the meantime, please refrain from using the autoclaves this morning as it does take water from this system to supply their boilers. Please check your labs for any taps running. Thanks! He is also a member of Nebraska Food for Health Center. Prior to joining UNL, he worked as a Senior Research Scientist at Pacific Northwest National Laboratory (PNNL), where he led microbiome modeling teams across several research programs. At UNL, he has continued to play a leadership role in collaborating with PNNL and SoilSystems – a major research initiative in Germany. Since 2017, he has served on the scientific and organizing committee for the Metabolic Pathway Analysis conference. Dr. Song earned his B.A., M.S., and Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from Korea University and completed his postdoctoral researcher in the School of Chemical Engineering at Purdue University. First Floor Microwave & Skywalk

Hello, The microwave on the first floor has been replaced. The skywalk door is now unlocked during regular business hours. @Undergrads<mailto:fdst-undergrad@lists.unl.edu> there is a Bistro vending area in the entrance to the skywalk. A kiosk is located adjacent to the vending to scan the items you want to purchase and to pay for them using a credit card or a preloaded vendor card. You are able to use this service at this time.
