Meredith is a Public Affairs Specialist with USDA's Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS). She works with the Food Safety Education Staff to communicate about the importance of preventing foodborne illness, specifically for consumers in the home. She has a Masters in Public Health, specializing in community health promotion, and uses those skills for a variety of communications elements like developing national communications campaigns, serving as a spokesperson for TV and radio interviews, organizing outreach events, advising in the development of creative materials, managing publications distribution, and much more.
