Hi team,
Please consider applying for these two opportunities. Our lab is ‘officially affiliated’ with CIBC, so you are allowed to apply.
Travel funds are helpful for covering the costs of going to a national conference!! Anything that CIBC doesn’t cover I can cover, but getting help from CIBC would be great!
The 2 months of summer salary would also be super helpful! For the undergrads it would probably be a pay raise from the UCARE (you could only accept one of the two if you are offered both) and for graduate students it would help me with the tight budget (and I would never have you take a pay cut, if they don’t cover your summer stipend to the same amount as I normally do then I would cover the difference).
Probably the most important aspect to you is that this will look really good on your CV/resume! CIBC is funded by NIH, so saying that you received an NIH fellowship would be great!!
Let me know if you are planning to apply and then I would be happy to help you with anything you need.
