Importance: High
Colleagues,
Please share the information below with Professors and Research staff in your unit. We have an increase in projects- (50 science fair projects)- coming for our Regional Science Fair on Thursday here at our East Campus Union, and we are in need of more Professor/Research Staff judges. Last year's fair resulted in some new students to our departments/units and several mentor opportunities. There is some confusion that this is the same science fair as the STATE one on April 24th (they have plenty of judges so thank you to everyone for supporting that event). That Science Fair is also on East Campus. The Regional is the qualifying science fair for the state fair in April. Questions please let me know.
Thanks,
Tammy
Colleagues,
We hope your spring semester is off to a great start. We will be hosting the Southeast Regional Science Fair at the East Campus Union on March 27th from 8-12:30. We are looking for individuals who can attend the whole time and would like to judge middle school and high school science fair projects. If you are interested, please sign up at the link below. We would also like to encourage our colleagues outside of CASNR to participate so if you have a colleague in a different college who would be interested in judging, please share this information. Any questions please contact Tammy Mittelstet at tmittelstet@unl.edumailto:tmittelstet@unl.edu.
Thanks for considering this opportunity to work with the next generation of scientists,
Tammy
