Street Closure: Transformation Drive will be closed from Court Street to 19th Street from August 18 to August 22, between 7:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. each day. This closure is necessary to accommodate the increased traffic and logistics related to Move-In.
Traffic Notifications: Trafcon will place a message board in the areas surrounding city campus and the Devaney Center a week in advance to notify drivers of the upcoming street closure.
Barricades: Barricades will be positioned at Court Street and 19th Street. UNL Housing staff will manage these barricades, setting them up in the morning and moving them aside in the evening.
Please plan your commutes accordingly and notify any visitors or deliveries of these temporary changes. Your cooperation and understanding are greatly appreciated as we work to ensure a smooth Move-In experience for all incoming Huskers.

Monos in Oil is a captivating collection of monoprints created with oil paint and glass panes. The series features a diverse range of subject matter, from musicians to abstract portraits.
This unique selection of oil paintings emerged alongside corresponding works on archival glass. The creative process is akin to monotype printmaking, focusing on the interplay between abstractions and illustrations of musicians. The emphasis lies more on the artistic technique—utilizing a brush, paint, glass, and physical pressure—than on the specific subjects themselves. The process was both innovative and enjoyable, exploring the potential of these materials and methods.
Javier Rivera is an artist based in Lincoln specializing in figurative painting and drawing. He earned his BFA from the University of Nebraska–Lincoln in 2022. Javier has exhibited his work in various local and underground venues in Lincoln and his hometown of Omaha. He currently operates out of a studio in the Parrish Project building in downtown Lincoln.

NIC visitors that do not have a NIC parking permit or a UNL parking permit are required to pay for parking in the paved lot north of Transformation Drive using the Passport Parking app. This is the same parking app used when people park on the street at NIC, in downtown Lincoln and in the Haymarket.
Parking Zones: The paved lot north of Transformation Drive is Zone 9900 on the Passport Parking app. On-street parking at NIC is Zone 80. Parking in downtown Lincoln and the Haymarket is Zone 75.
Enforcement: Paid parking in the paved lot north of Transformation Drive is enforced from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Monday through Saturday. On-street metered parking is enforced from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Monday through Saturday.
If you have a NIC parking permit or a UNL parking permit:
* If you have a Nebraska Innovation Campus parking permit do not use the Passport Parking app to pay for parking in the paved lot north of Transformation Drive. Nebraska Innovation Campus parking permits are valid in parking lots with first come first served parking, reserved spaces (numbered yellow hang tags only) and the paved lot north of Transformation Drive. * If you have a University of Nebraska–Lincoln parking permit please notify Parking and Transit Services and request that your permit be added to the reciprocal visitors list. Send the requests from your official UNL email account to unlpts@unl.edumailto:unlpts@unl.edu. Your license will then be added to the NIC permit roster. Access remains for the effective period of your UNL permit. After your UNL permit has been added to the NIC permit roster, do not use the Passport Parking app to pay for parking in the lot north of Transformation Drive. University of Nebraska–Lincoln parking permits are valid only in the paved lot north of Transformation Drive. * If you have a University of Nebraska–Lincoln student parking permit do not use the Passport Parking app to pay for parking.
