Hello students!
I hope you are enjoying this spring-like weather - my goodness - the sun feels so good! The garden season is so close - In a couple weeks, we will be starting thousands of seeds together 🙂
Where we will meet:
This week we will be meeting in the Plant Sciences classroom on the second floor.
Friendly reminder that attendance is really important! In order to receive your stipends, each student needs to attend 70% of the classes each quarter.
Before Class: There is no reading assignment this week - enjoy being outside!
What we will be doing:
* 9am Cultural Teaching at Plant Sciences: We will have a guest speaker coming to talk about traditional foods of the Omaha Nation
* 10:30am Greenhouse Activity with Louise - learning about and building habitat for native prairie bees!
* 11:30/noon Lunch
Have a lovely week, Skylar
Hello everyone!
Class meets tomorrow in Plant Sciences Hall. We will start with the cultural teaching and then head over to the greenhouse for a teaching and hands-on activity by Louise, the entomologist (she loves the little guys - our insect friends!).
I will not be in class tomorrow. My family are headed to visit extended family in western Nebraska today. I will be back in class on the 24th!
Wishing you well,
Skylar
