Good afternoon!
Thanks everyone for participating in today’s bee-focused session. Attached, please find the slides I used for the presentation – the colored afterimage slides are in there if you wanted to try that again. The bee houses are looking great – you will see these again in the Hoop garden, where we will be able to observe who takes up residence in them.
As I mentioned today, I wanted to send a friendly reminder that I am always happy to chat and/or answer questions about college – entomology or otherwise, UNL or otherwise.
Hopefully everyone who was interested in a hard copy of the solitary bee habitat and bumble bee publications received one. They are also available online. Here are the links:
* Creating a Solitary Bee Habitat (Free PDF): https://extensionpubs.unl.edu/publication/9000016369591/creating-a-solitary-... * Conserving Bumble Bees ($5 online… if anyone really wants one, I can track a couple down): https://marketplace.unl.edu/extension/ec1587.html
Have a beautiful day and rest of your weekend!
Kind regards, Louise
